In 10 years of emceeing for this organization I’ve seen tremendous growth. It’s gone from serving the greater-Portland area to @firstteeoregon
It’s teaching kids about life, through the game of golf. They teach nine core principles, including perseverance and honesty. It also provides scholarships, so all students can enjoy @firstteeoregon courses. And it provides mentors.
95% of businesses leaders report they were once a student athlete. 94% of female business leaders say they were a student athlete. Getting more kids in sports, with trained coaches & mentors leads to a successful future.

From Wednesdays to Sundays at The Children’s Course, it’s been a few awesome weeks of learning and fun!
We’ve been working on squaring the clubface, building target awareness, and dialing in distance control—all while growing confidence on the course.
And at the heart of it all are the 5 E’s of @girlsgolf :

The next generation of caddies is underway ⛳️
This past weekend, our Spring Caddie Academy kicked off with a full day of training at The Children’s Course. These dedicated young caddies took their first steps toward the prestigious Chick Evans Scholarship through a mix of classroom learning and on-course experience.
We were honored to host guest speakers @joshua_koepke , professional caddie at Pebble Beach Golf Resort, and @paul_knue , Director of Caddie Development at the @wgaesf , who shared invaluable insights and inspiration.
Next up: practice loops over the coming weeks, as trainees continue to sharpen their skills before heading into summer caddie programs with our local country club partners across the Portland area.
Excited to watch these future leaders grow! 🌟
