MIDWEST DEADMAN & FIRST STREET COLLECTIVE PRESENT: HOMETOWN THROWDOWN II. Back once again with better and newer bands performing with different styles of genres. 9 bands all in one night at the one and only, Parachigo.
I’ve been planning this show for a long while now and I’m very excited for it to finally happen. On January 27th, 2024, which is nearly two years ago now, me and Leif booked a show at chigo cuz our old band, Jenkem, wasn’t getting booked on anything. So we said “fuck it” and booked one ourselves along with homies and our other bands. It was four bands and three of them were mine, the other band was Goodmorning Guilty, so it felt super right to have them on this one because they’ve been day one homies and were partly responsible for my first band to perform at their show on July 18th, 2023. Another returning band is Cudgel, who is headlining just because the first hometown throwdown was our first show and have been going since then. I wanted to commemorate this showcase to show how far we’ve come as a collective and as bands and I’m deeply proud of it. For all the homies.
