There is this feeling. Not in an emotional, or thoughtful sense, but a physical one.
When the day is cool and the gloom is particularly grey, the late spring sun cuts through overcast like a broad head in deer hide, or like a razor between fingers.
The sun.
But that ray, it almost burns.
When you’ve been leaning into the cool wind, that bit of golden light burns.
How selfish to relish in that pain.
I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who came out to my silly little one day fest, and how much it means to me. I started booking shows in 2022 with the intention of bringing bands here that resonate with me, bands that are different than the usual once-in-a-blue-moon heavy package we get through town so seldomly.
Thank you for trusting me to put a good show on for you, and to the incredible artists and bands who take a chance on our little community of rockers.
Next up for me is a big boy tour with my dear friends in PAINS, come say hi to me at a show.
Love ya.
