We are reminiscing on our unforgettable trip to Acadia National Park this summer, where we had the chance to partner with @friendsofacadia to film their Drop-In Stewardship Program, and wow, what an experience. Acadia is unlike any other national park: granite peaks, ocean spray, quiet forest trails, and those iconic carriage roads (we got a behind the scenes tour). There’s something about Maine’s landscapes that keeps calling us north. The Drop-In Stewardship Program is one of the most accessible and community-driven volunteer programs we’ve seen. No registration, no experience needed—just show up, get your hands dirty, and make a real impact. It’s grassroots trail care that preserves the beauty and integrity of this beloved park, one brush cut or drainage cleared at a time.
