3,200 pounds of seed is stored in the cooler for future habitat restoration projects in Rocky.
Rocky Mountain Conservancy is proud to support the recent replacement of the seed storage cooler condenser, which keeps the cooler at the proper temperature for seed viability.

Volunteer with incredible views by helping remove invasive plant species in Rocky Mountain National Park on May 26 or May 30, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm! 🌱
Alongside park staff, you'll learn to identify invasive species and master proper removal techniques.
Volunteers will meet outside the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and will be shuttled to the work site. This is physically demanding and rewarding work. Expect a full, active day on varied terrain, with little to no shade.
