Saturday 23rd May at Saltdean Lido, it's First Press Record Fair with We Love 45s DJs soundtracking another afternoon of digging at Brighton's finest Lido!
We Love 45s comes to Saltdean Lido for the first time in collaboration with First Press, with the Record Fair returning after an excellent day out last summer. This special event celebrates 7” vinyl culture with a curated record fair and a soundtrack of four hours of 45s spun by selectors from the 45 Day community, alongside some of Brighton’s finest stores, dealers and collectors opening their crates.
Set against the iconic architectural backdrop of Saltdean Lido, a beloved modernist landmark by the sea, DJs will bring deep, eclectic, and soulful 45s to life, complementing the vibe of this historic venue and seaside setting.
£2 entry with half of proceedings being donated to the excellent charity Help Musicians, who help the next generation of music makers to get a break - free after 2pm, but donations welcome.

Kicking off a busy few weeks of spinning on Tuesday - plenty of chances to come and hear some wonky music with yours truly.
Getting started with Anna aka The Record Caddy as a guest on her Totally Wired radio show, then a set alongside a mysterious Brazilian friend at the Earth and Stars the night before the next First Press Record Fair at Saltdean Lido and rounding off the weekend with a debut slot at a long time favourite spot, The Great Eastern, before heading to the excellent Voya to soundtrack Friday night and landing back at the Earth and Stars for Crosstown Traffic alongside Rob Life and Matty S.

A now London based Chicago resident, Constance hosted the ‘Cutz On Cuts’ radio show and is the co-founder of @justgoodbeats - bringing an eclectic mix for dance lovers with funk, soul, reggae and more, we're very excited to see what lands in just over 2 weeks time here in Brighton.
@bradhbsma72 joins us at @saltdeanlido on May 23rd bringing some out deep cuts with Jazz, Fusion and Soul from the likes of Jimmy Smith, Eddie Henderson, Eric Gale and Roland Kirk - as well the pioneering Silver Apples, with plenty more to be found on the day.
