We love Brighton Electric - it’s become one of Brighton’s best venues and the IT’S A RAVE party we did there back in February was a BANGER.
So it is that we’re going one better - on FRIDAY JULY 10th we are hosting another shindig there, only with THREE YES THREE rooms!
Ever since the early days of rave I have loved a chillout room and FINALLY, after nearly 30 years promoting, we’re gonna have one!
In THE MAIN ARENA (couldn’t resist) it will be a residents’ special - with DAN WATTS, WILL CLASS, DJ NOTHING and me TIM BTB bringing the noise. You know what we do - breaks, acid, hardcore, boom bap, disco, house, jungle, dnb, techno, garage, 2 step and Chas and Dave. And there will be sodding LASERS!
ARENA TWO (the bar) will feature SHAMBLIN’ SEXTON of The Great Eastern fame, still aglow from his triumphant acid house set for us at the Lewes Road Inn back in December�, and COLMANDO (Bob Dobbs, Heart & Hand) on his BTB debut, plus whichever of us reprobates elbow our way onto the decks for a go.
ARENA THREE will be your archetypal chill-out space - trance rags on the wall, comfy things to sit on, nature videos on repeat and all manner of delightful wibbly business for your ears! GENERAL LEGSTA (1BTN) will be bringing some of his unparalleled reggae vinyls to soothe your tired raving legs, while TIM BTB and DJ NOTHING will provide the plinky plonky bleeps and bloops. We might even sell cups of tea.
For those who don’t know the venue, there is also a comfortable garden space for those who like to smoke the evil brown weed and shout loudly at one another.
As you no doubt know we pride ourselves on always putting on free parties, but on this �rare occasion we’re asking the princely sum of EIGHT OF YOUR EARTH POUNDS for this veritable smorgasboard of musical and cultural excellence. Tickets are strictly limited to 180 and we very much anticipate a sell out. The first 120 are priced at £8 and the last 60 are a tenner. Fair?

Blimey, they have the best beer selection in Brighton on a normal day so lord knows what they have in store this weekend!

To celebrate our very own WILL CLASS’s 50th, we’re resurrecting IT’S A RAVE to mark the occasion! we last did one of these 20 odd years ago at The Volks!
For the first ever time we’re at the glorious BRIGHTON ELECTRIC, it’s FREE yes FREE and guests on the night will be the delectable EVIL TOM (Evil Nine) and SHADESTEP, with Dan Watts, Tim BTB, DJ Nothing and the man himself Will Class, no doubt throwing shapes and pulling stupid faces.
as the name suggests the main room will be devoted to proper ‘avin it rave music from all eras.
