Words cannot describe how I feel to be able to share the work the LEGO Editions team and I put into making this huge project a reality. To be able to design my first two LEGO sets with two of my favorite football players is something I never thought would happen. Let alone meeting my GOAT and being able to show @cristiano all the love the team put into creating these products. I am forever grateful to all the people who helped me along the way and I hope the fans enjoy finding all the small references in the LEGO sets, which can be preordered now on the LEGO Online Shop ;) It started when I joined LEGO DESiGN in December of 2024. I showed my passion for the great sport which landed me a role on the LEGO Editons team, where I immediately started working on various concepts for what would later turn into some of the sets you see today. I have to thank my people leader Alina for recognizing this passion and my various creative leads, Dan, Andy, Leo, Michael and Woon Tze for encouraging and helping me during the design process. Especially when I asked to take up designing the two models instead of one. I must thank @designbyfreddy for letting me swap with him to work on the Cristiano Ronaldo Football Highlights set and for being a mentor and sparring partner during the design process. His Messi and Vini Jr. models turned out amazing! A big shoutout to the graphic designers @bea_design15 , Lucy and Anthony who created some of the best looking LEGO minifigures ever made, alongside other great decorations in the LEGO sets. I have so many fun stories to tell about the design process and how everything developed with the partners who were fun to work with. But you can read about those in the different interviews and videos to come. Im eager for all the fans to build the sets themselves and discover all the easter eggs I hid inside. Even though they are primarily display models, I’m interested to see what other creations people make with the LEGO sets. Seeing all the reactions, from football fans, to that amazing video starring all the players brings a smile to my face. Forever grateful. -Blue Dreams- This is something I’ve wanted to build for a while now, I’ve seen this amazing artwork by @pascalblanche a long time ago and I thought it would be a fun challenge to recreate it out of LEGO bricks. I wanted to play around with brick built shadows and color contrast. Wish we had a violet color though. The snot floor was quite tedious to build, but well worth it. It took about a week to complete. Since I was a kid, my dream job has always been to be a LEGO designer. Everything I’ve done has been geared toward that goal. I chose a bachelor’s in visual communication, knowing it would help me get into the Master’s in Play @dskd_play in Denmark, a step toward working at The LEGO Group. I was thrilled when I got a job at my local LEGO Store in 2018, and even more excited when I joined TLG’s social media team as a student worker. But nothing topped the call I received last week at a LEGO convention, offering me a role as a LEGO model designer.😁 I’ve been building all my life– 25 years. Star Wars inspired me early on, it was a perfect blend with LEGO bricks. I joined online LEGO communities, sharing my builds on YouTube, where I was inspired by creators like @solid_brix and his Kashyyyk MOC series. Later, I joined @rebellug and attended conventions across Europe, starting with @brickingbavaria in 2017. Through these events, I met talented builders and friends who pushed my skills to new heights. When I moved to Denmark two years ago, I focused on my studies and completed my master’s with top grades, earning an award for my thesis, developed with TLG and my mentor @nicolaas_vas . I remember jumping like crazy when @ashtemple told me I got a student job at TLG. Working as an unofficial builder for TLG’s social media was an amazing experience where I met incredible people. I also did some side quests at LEGO Education, Creative Play Lab and LEGO House. The hiring process was long, but the final workshop was thrilling. I remember being a teen watching videos of @justinramsden participating in the workshop, so actually being in one was surreal. I couldn’t have made it here without the support of so many people—childhood friends, school friends, convention mates, my grandma, brother and sister, and most of all, my parents, who always believed in me and supported me to chase my dream. Last, but not least I must thank all of YOU for supporting me through the years, without you I wouldn’t have gotten here. LEGO Osgiliath ~ With the reveal of the stunning LEGO Minas Tirith set I wanted to share this REBUILD I made ONLY using pieces from the LEGO Rivendell set, which is one of my favorite sets of all time. All the other builds were also made using the pieces from Rivendell. Even though it’s an amazing set, I just wanted to see what else I could build, and something else from The Lord Of The Rings universe just made sense. The build took a few days, and even though challenging at times due to the limited pieces, I still had a lot of fun building this and ended up quite happy with what I have done. Im just missing some Gondor figures to populate it. What do you guys think? Ever tried rebuilding a big set like this? “Arachnoid Stalker” This is my latest MOC built for the Exo-Force LEGO designers collaboration which will be displayed this weekend at @skaerbaek_fanweekend . Even though I didn’t have any of the original sets, the themed always seemed very fun. So when the idea came up do a revamp of all the old sets I wanted to be a part of it. I chose the small spider set (last photo) and decided to try and add a twist to it. I wanted to add another shade besides just the black, therefore I added the dark blue to match the orange highlights. I had fun making the legs where I managed to use a motorcycle frame element and the small F1 chassis. In contrast with the big legs I added small fragile looking arms that you don’t want to be in reach of, as seen on the photos. The entire build was quite fun to make, using some bricks I never used before. It was a fun challenge and I am glad to be part of this truly EPIC collaboration! Star Wars Battlefront 2 Geonosis MOC I built a while ago, but forgot to share. There couldn’t be a better time than to post it now with all the Battlefront hype coming back. So happy to see a resurgence, since it really is an amazing game. It’s been almost 8 years. We want #Battlefront3 @eastarwars @starwars . Make it happen! The MOC is quite simple, the main focus was to try to use the ballon pieces to build a Geonosis spire, theres quite a clash with the textures, but the shape could work. Would definitely build it better if I gave it another go. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless. First Zepelin Design A small MOC I built a fee years ago for a LEGO Ideas contest. Check out the build video on my YouTube :) In 1784, General Jean Baptiste Marie Meusnier designed an elliptical airship that was about 260 feet (79 meters) long. Meusnier’s design was never built. ERROR || | | | || This creation was built in 15 hours before Bricking Bavaria this year. It was inspired by an unknown South Korean artist whose work I’ve seen in a lobby of a hotel in Seoul. I like the idea of “distorting reality”, so I was curious to explore it in LEGO form. It was trickier than I thought to build as some bricks weren’t aligning as easily, initially I wanted to make the distorted effects slightly longer, however I ran out of bricks and time. There is definitely room for improvement and I would like to hear your feedback on what exactly. “LEGO Hanged Man’s Tree - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” A long overdue build dedicated to the best game I have EVER played. A little collaboration with @brick_man_studios which we displayed @_bricktastic this year. This is a recognizable location that you encounter when you first enter Velen, better known as “No Man’s Land”. This is a large and lore rich part of the game, the land is ravaged by war and in constant turmoil. It’s gritty, dark, swampy and full of surprises. I loved getting lost in the map and its many quests. Im quite happy with the overall model, the locations itself is rather boring, so I tried to add as many little details to make is seem rich. The build is definitely not your usual cheerful LEGO MOC. Shoutout to @cdprojektred for making a game that truly changed my life, the music the story, all of it is brilliant. Also @dougcockle for providing an iconic voice for an Iconic protagonist. Custom Geralt by @drzarkow .
