One of the experimental techniques we’ll be offering is using stop-out varnish screenprinted directly onto the plate before dipping it into the acid — a brilliant way to create layered, unexpected tonal textures in your aquatint prints and use photographic images as well as painted marks.

We’re so proud to celebrate our print family member Jivan @jivan.west on his first solo exhibition.
After six years of work, When The Wind Blows: Colorado Fires 2020–2025 opens May 29 in Boulder — a deeply personal project documenting forest fires in Boulder County and the slow, quiet transformation of the landscapes that shaped his childhood.
Jivan has been documenting the destruction and regrowth following wildfires in his hometown since 2020, with the work focusing on long-term change rather than dramatic disaster imagery.
Thoughtful, patient, and powerful—this project reflects the same care Jivan brings to everything he does.

We’re delighted to share that our print family member @ivy_mei_art was recently commissioned by @ducksoupsoho to create a bespoke piece for their relaxed wine bar and restaurant.
It has been a pleasure to follow Ivy’s creative process from concept to completion. Her work explores abstract shapes that subtly evolve into recognisable forms, creating a thoughtful visual language that feels especially resonant for wine lovers.
The final piece sits beautifully within the restaurant’s atmosphere, complementing the warmth and character of the space with elegance.

Welcome our new studio member Parks @by_parkss — we’re so happy to have you working here 🫂
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina and now based between London and Charlotte, Parks Sadler’s practice centers around the active archive. Working with charged materials tied to lived experience, he moves across sculpture, photography, and printmaking to explore processes of remembering and the ongoing discovery of queer identity.
Parks is currently in the studio preparing for his upcoming April show, printing large-scale works on bed sheets that will be stretched and transformed in space.
We’re excited to see these pieces come to life.
