Sometimes spending years and risking it all for someone doest really worth it, but the truth is that love is a game….either you win or you lose.

In this snippet from Inside Nollywood, filmmaker Steve Gukas unpacks a long-standing challenge: limited access to funding and infrastructure has historically made it difficult for Nigerian films to reach the scale and technical polish required to appeal to international audiences.
From understanding audiences to delivering world-class post-production, Steve explains why the ecosystem matters just as much as the story, and how the industry is now entering a new phase as global partners invest locally.
We at TransPerfect Media are proud to support this shift. Our Lagos office is helping bridge the post-production gap with the expertise and infrastructure filmmakers need to reach global audiences.
