Fire Laps is changing the way we see the battle for pole. During GLGT Qualifying yesterday at Chicagoland, @fire_laps telemetry revealed just how tight the fight was between Eric Magnussen and Chris Delucia.
Magnussen took the top spot, thanks to a lap that was faster in every sector, carried more speed onto the straights, and showed textbook braking discipline. Delucia pushed hard with later braking and higher G-loads, but it came at the cost of exit speed.
