Praxis - a publication that reimagines stone lettering in a modern context exploring its lasting influence on design. Throughout this project, I sought to connect traditional practices with more contemporary design, encouraging an appreciation for analogue crafts in a digital world. The publication is a celebration of the craftsmanship and permanence of stone lettering, bridging the past and future through design.

Portal Album Cover
This project, set by G.F. Smith, tasked us with responding to a collection of ambient tracks made by father. In my response, I developed a coded system using JavaScript that analyses various elements of the tracks, such as frequency and amplitude changes, and visualises as a continuous line drawing.
Sign Deterioration Observation
On the train today saw some sign deterioration when going through Birmingham. When I got home I started to put together all the street view images of this sign and see the progress of deterioration over the last 14 years. Interesting to see how the natural weathering processes can influence design. In the back of the video is an experiment with video interpolation. Hope to explore how this deterioration could be expressed with type.
