x @trameparis .
Myself @ix.shells & @lindadouniar have been working with Trame over the past year on a generative algorithms with their outputs turned into tapestries! Finally got to show them in the texan desert at the @artblocks_io meetup in Marfa. I'm really proud of this project and looking forward to working on more π¨πΎβπ» πͺ‘

Here's my contribution to @heft_gallery 'Circle' βοΈ
I worked on this algorithm a while ago and was really proud of it but never did anything with it. So its somewhat fitting that it goes towards helping Heft continue their mission in supporting digital art & artists.
The project includes 50+ artists around the world including myself who believe in their mission, this just 5 of 10 outputs generated from the algo.

hey beautiful people, heres my final output & some that didn't make the cut for 'Please Respond', a generative chain project by @tylerxhobbs .
I worked on this algorithm over the space of 2 weeks in Nov 25', mostly reusing parts from older sketches. I'm really happy with how it came out & the response has been great since it released last week.
What do you think of it and do you have any favourites!?

πππ¦π’π΄π¦ ππ¦π΄π±π°π―π₯ 2: @fingacode
When algorithmic artist fingacode (Junior Ngoma) inherited the codebase to create πππ¦π’π΄π¦ ππ¦π΄π±π°π―π₯ 2, he received a pristine, one-artist foundation built by Tyler Hobbs: a delicately balanced, sweeping geological flow.
His response? To fracture the continuous space, drop strict architectural boundaries, and sample the raw code like an early hip-hop producer. Fingacode sits down with Logan Woodyard to discuss the physical act of intervening on the DNA of Tylerβs original work, explaining his deeply human approach to the rigid geometry of the grid.
Comparing the unpredictable randomness of his algorithm to a neighborhood street party bursting out of its confines, this episode explores the visual tension between strict architecture and organic flow. It reveals the unique freedom of knowing your code will be overwritten, and the profound philosophy of treating an evolving codebase like an ongoing game of Chinese whispers.

Discover our first exhibition β¨
This week, we opened the doors of our brand new showroom - a space designed to bring digital art to life and spark conversations, reflection and inspiration.
To mark the occasion, we unveiled our first ever exhibition around one of the most universal themes : memory.
Personal memory shapes our identity. Collective memory shapes cultures, traditions, peoples. It is placed at the intersection of who we are and where we come from.β³

I released 60 new artworks last weekend on a 'pay what you want' basis on @objktcom !
The project itself is a revision of a generative art system i made in 2021 with @touchdesigner
Im aiming to clean up the project file & release it for others to play with soon π
asterisk* - making generative algos is a psychological sport for me. some days I feel chosen. other days I want to burn everything, abandon language, and devote myself to silence.
but maybe this was never about mastery.
maybe itβs about transmutation. taking whatever is rotting inside me; doubt, anger, restlessness and forcing it through the machine until it becomes form. proof that I was here. proof that I didnβt let it consume me.
Iβm learning to stop negotiating with the future. to stop asking if itβs good. to stop asking if it matters.
I make what feels necessary. now. nothing else.
