What you actually get from a Finegraphy Meetup?
Nicole Ashleigh joined once and then came back three more times!
Four events in, and she’s still finding reasons to come back because the lineup of photographers changes every time, and so do the results.
She’s grown her portfolio, sharpened her posing, and built real connections with photographers she continues to work with outside of the events. And her message to any model still on the fence?
It’s completely worth it.
What are you waiting for?

You shouldn’t have to risk your safety to build a portfolio.
No showing up alone to a stranger’s studio. No unclear terms. No wondering if you’ll ever see your photos.
At Finegraphy Meetup, every photographer is vetted. Every shoot is supervised. Every participant signs a TFP contract that protects your image rights and sets clear expectations.
You show up, you create, you leave with real portfolio work. That’s it.
Next meetup is coming soon. Swipe through to see what your day looks like. 👉

This is what a single Finegraphy Meetup looks like from behind the scenes to the final edit from the glance of one of the participants.
Everything was provided: the models, the wardrobe, the location @city_centre_artist_lodge
Kumar showed up with his camera and walked away with portfolio-quality work from three completely different setups.
No weeks of DMs. No coordinating schedules. No hoping someone shows up. Just a structured space to create.

I started Finegraphy, because I was exactly where you are. In 2015, a friend handed me a camera at a festival in Amsterdam. I didn’t know it would change my life. I moved to Vancouver, fell in love with photography, and realized pretty quickly that growing as a creative on your own is lonely. That’s why Finegraphy exists. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it feels like to need a space like this and not have one. If you’ve been thinking about showing up, this is your sign. I hope to see you at our next event.

Are you tired of cold DMs, flaky collaborations, and showing up to shoots where nothing was planned?
This is exactly why I created the Finegraphy Meetup.
As a photographer you will work with 3–4 committed, pre-vetted models in a carefully selected location, with structured 30-minute 1-on-1 rotations so you actually get time to create instead of fighting for shots.
This is not one of those overcrowded networking events where everyone leaves with the same photos.
The group stays intentionally small with 3–4 photographers and 3–4 models. Every pairing gets proper creative attention.
TFP agreements are signed before the shoot even starts.
You leave with portfolio-worthy work, new connections, and a shoot that actually feels organized from start to finish.
If you value preparation, professionalism, and building stronger work instead of just collecting random content — you will fit right in.
