Wins and losses arenāt opposites. Theyāre the same game.
Oware ā also known as Ayo or Wari ā is one of the oldest games on earth, dating back thousands of years across West Africa. Passed down through generations. Carried across oceans.
During the slave trade, it made its way to the Caribbean ā used to communicate, strategize, and survive.
Itās a game of patience, sacrifice, and timing. Every move costs something. Every win comes from a loss. And every loss informs the next move.
We learned this game from our grandparents in Ghana. You can feel its lessons now more than ever while building something real.
You sacrifice.
You learn.
You reposition.
You keep going.

Uduimoh Umolu is building more than a brand with Jon Basil.
Rooted in Nigeriaš³š¬ and Ghanaš¬š but expanding across cities like Chicago and New York, the vision goes beyond tequila. It is about culture, ownership, and creating systems that allow African creativity to move globally.
For Uduimoh, the mission is simple. Build something that lasts. Something the next generation can inherit.
This is a new model for African-owned global brands.
