On the Ninth day of Christmas Finprojects gives to you @iamvaughanmusic
(Check out our other post today to hear the incredible Vaughan perform)
Vaughan’s thunderously emotive sound is a true pop feast, having been compared to the talents of Kate Bush, FKA twigs and RY X. I WAS showcases a maturity in his range; from the undulating analogue textures of BitCrushed to the bare-boned and densely hollow anthem Silence.
Vaughan’s narrative is synonymous with the narrative of so many young queer people, one that effuses so profoundly from and is so expertly chronicled by his music.
Thomas Harvey, the man behind the pseudonym, continues his exploration of repression and sexuality, this time with even more poetic brutalism, confessing psychological fissures between sex, love and self acceptance.

On the Eighth day of Christmas Finprojects gives to you @heners332
“Hey, I’m Henry (he/him).
I am a dance artist currently living in Leeds. Originally from down south I’ve had the pleasure of spending the last 4 years training in Leeds and I am now freelancing as a dancer, contemporary teacher and choreographer.
Although the current pandemic has put a halt to my creative journey, I can’t wait to start exploring some new ideas with other dancers I have met along my journey. I am interested in exploring the language of nightlife and how we move when we dance at parties/clubs etc. I hope that my work will create fun and visceral experiences for audiences so keep your eye out for any work that might pop up soon!”

"Rio is a nonbinary performer from the wilds of Bradford, originally from Nottinghamshire (They're not saying that they're Robin Hood but they've never been seen in a room at the same time). Their claims to fame (yes there’s only two of them) is being compared to Sarah Sanderson by Sharon Needles (she was probably drunk) and being pointed out by @thebiancadelrio for being in drag at one of her shows. Their hobbies include enjoying long walks in the park reporting people who aren’t social distancing and fracking Rupauls property."

On the Fourth day of Christmas Finprojects gives to you the incredible @sassicism by Harry Bartlett.
Harry is staple of the Leeds social scene, always dressed to the 9’s, but what else do you expect from a BA (Hons) Fashion Photography Graduate, from Falmouth University. Harry is a Digital Content Creator who describes himself as a “lover of fashion, drag queen connoisseur and all around phenomenal human being”.
Not to be stopped by the Covid-19 outbreak, Harry Turned to a passion project he once left abandoned and now presents to the world
‘SASSICISM’
A creative and current twist on classical art, integrating times past with todays culture. Sassicism is a brilliant way of bringing new life to old paintings, as well as creating a queer artistic safe space!
“I would love to see Sassicism become a project recognised by a vast array of members of the queer community. I want to become the “Gay Rembrandt” where queer venues will want to have their own piece displayed somewhere within. It’ll be like Pokémon Go! I’m hoping to create more pieces inspired by actual queens as well and incorporate a bit more of gay culture into each piece. I believe Sassicism should have a sense of humour considering I’m dusting off ancient paintings and giving them a fabulous outing.”
To see more of Harry’s work and purchase your own go and follow @sassicism NOW!
