The original true Warren G :) released Becket Records but also a link to circle city records notable (of circle city band fame). No info on the female singer Michelle as there are no other credits for her apart from this.
Warren Burris later released an LP on a German label that has this single and a bunch of other singles he released.

Next Plateau (1982)
Easily my fav track by Carol Douglas (in the authors humble opinion). It has some of that organic 70s disco production, as well as the punchier boogie vibe that's well on its way in by '82. The break towards the end is to die for - multilayered and complex, with great vibes playing, resulting in a cosmic disco atmosphere 🌡️🎶
Not to be missed and still cheap as chips.

Not much hype around this one but I love the slamming synths and the wailing guitar 🎸. This artist is a one release wonder, I don't know anything about them.
Produced by Eddie Saunders and Kevin Marshall, who worked on some other great boogie tracks , most notably New Jersey Connection with "Love Don't Come Easily"

This gent Rick Smith released an LP and a couple of singles around 81/82, before vanishing down the memory hole.
This track, along with "I'll never give up on love" only available on the LP, are his best imo.
