As part of our screening we will be running a make your own emotional support rock craft session before the screening. Obviously we had to go on that hunt for Rocks ready for you to adopt. Not only is Ms Diagnosed bringing you the best Neurospicy cinema. But we are leading the way in Rock rehabilitation and conservation. All rocks where collected with their blessing and are very excited to come home with you on Wednesday You're also welcome to bring your own favourite rocks to customise. Why Everything Everywhere All At Once ? because it's one of the best films of the 21st century. but also... Everything Everywhere All At Once follows laundromat owner Evelyn Quan Wang as she leaps across the multiverse in a mission to save everything in existence from being swallowed by the endless abyss of a black hole, created by an alternate version of her daughter, Joy. In early drafts of the script, Evelyn was written as a character with undiagnosed ADHD. While no explicit reference to Evelyn's ADHD made it into the film's final edit; Everything Everywhere All At Once serves as a visual pastiche of colliding and intersecting allegories for neurodivergent experiences. The film becomes a love story between Evelyn and her selves. A journey into the endless existence of every possible choice she could have made throughout her life, culminates in a final act to find her daughter and restore their fractured relationship. What is Ms. Diagnosed? It is a film programme that seeks to spotlight films with female protagonists* whose stories resonate with the lives & experiences of neurodivergent women and girls. Ms. Diagnosed is a creative response to suggestions from the current health secretary that the UK is experiencing an over-diagnosis of neurodivergent conditions, with little to no acknowledgement of the decades-long under-diagnosis of neurodivergence in people socialised as women and girls. Why is this important? Representations of neurodivergence in film have rarely been explored through narratives of girlhood and/or the lives of women. It is important that these experiences be shown onscreen, for affirmation & empowerment. Ms Diagnosed is collaboratively curated by folks from the Leeds DIY film community who are (late) diagnosed or self-recognised neurodivergent. Films chosen for screenings will feature female characters who may be coded- or retrospectively read as- neurospicy huns. A little bit late but here's my top films of 2025, what was yours? FOUR MOTHERS, BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND, MARCHING BAND, BOB TREVINO LIKES IT, I SWEAR & MEMOIR OF A SNAIL all made me laugh but made me cry too as they were funny, tender & I was totally emotionally invested. SENTIMENTAL VALUE is brilliant, it made me cry too & has one very good joke in as well and a feel good bit on the beach  I really enjoyed OH MY GOODNESS, all about nuns on bikes trying to win a competition to save their nursing home, I laughed throughout THE GOLDEN SPURTLE is a brilliant doc with quirky characters all competing to have the perfect porridge recipe  LILO & STITCH was the first live action remake I'd seen, I still love the original but this one was just as good as well, very cute  K-POP DEMON HUNTERS - is worth the hype, took me two attempts as the first time I wasn't concentrating on it but the second time I loved it, Golden is a great song and I liked the characters in the band too THAT SUMMER IN PARIS - I related very much to the character in this film it's very nice wandering around with Blandine, a bit of a bumbling, socially awkward traveller visiting Paris LESBIAN SPACE PRINCESS - lots of fun and amazingly animated, would definitely like to screen this film at some point  DREAMING OF YOU - was my kind of doc using all sorts of medium to tell the story of the band The Coral  THE EXTRAORDINARY MISS FLOWER - unique way to tell the story of life through letters & music KARATE KID - was back with LEGENDS, I was obsessed with COBRA KAI & was enjoyable  QUEENS OF THE DEAD - funny with fierce, in every sense of the word, characters, trying to survive zombies SUNLIGHT - brilliantly surreal & silly road movie from Nina Conti  GOOD FORTUNE stars one of my favourites Keanu in this modern version of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE & made me smile SORRY, BABY - written, directed & acted by the incredibly talented Eva Victor, a brilliantly nuanced film about living with life after a traumatic assault very thoughtful with humour Plus I really liked BRING HER BACK not feel good at all but I wrote a quick bit for Hyde Park Picture House's journal post for their top films #film2025
