So yeah, kemarin akhirnya menamatkan side quest virgin half marathon yang akhirnya bikin jatuh cinta sama event road running. Walaupun belum tembus sub 2:00 seperti angan-angan, tapi kemaren was a beautiful day.
Diprediksi Strava finish 2:09, ga pernah lari lebih dari 15km di road, peak week berantakan, rutenya dalkot tarkam loop yg aku love hate relationship. Tapi ternyata hasilnya memuaskan. Saatnya bernyanyi lagu Ariana Grande, thank you legs 🎶
Sesuai prinsip having fun is the mission. Finish senyum, race wajib happy. Cuaca bagus, kaki ngga rewel. Masih bisa ikut main drum band 2 kali (sayangnya ga kejepret kang poto), jogetin ondel-ondel, main sama anjing. Kudos to cheering block party sepanjang 6km dari km 16 sampe finish energinya gila banget. Big respect to @adystrabimo dan seluruh @jakartarunningfestival yg bertugas. Super fun!

Fast is fun, #SlowisOK
Batur was brutally fun! Memulai race dengan sakit kepala dari bangun tidur, memutuskan minum panadol merah yg caffeinenya ngekick asam lambung just before the start. Hoek hoek dikit di starting line, tapi mulai lari dengan steady dan sesuai strategi. Menuju summit 2 di km 6-7 mimpi buruk saya kejadian. Ujan badai persis di puncak gunung 🥶
Niat mau ngegas di downhill menuju WS 1, ternyata harus dealing sama kontur pasir loose dan batu basah. Kayaknya ada 3-4 kali jatoh kepeleset (sekali mau offside masup jurang wkwkwk). Abis WS 1, langit kayak kebuka balik cerah lagi. Pemandangannya MANTEP BGT. Km 8-9 memutuskan santai sejenak enjoy the trail. Sebelum kembali lari lagi sampe finish dan menyelesaikan di sub 4 hours (3:44:00). Telat 24 menit dari target 3:20:00 tapi #SlowisOK, yg penting have fun!

Trail race debut at @siksorogolawuultra 15k and it was brutally fun. Trail race ternyata tak semudah dan semulus race plan di kepala. Siksorogo rutenya bener-bener menyiksa badan 🫠👍🏻
Gagal mencuri waktu sebelum ws 1 akibat ankle vs makadam (i hate makadam 🤬), lalu berencana gas pol rute downhill setelah 6km climbing section. Ternyata… keram berulang di km 9,5 sampe finish. Lewat 30 menit dari target tapi #SlowisOK. 3 jam 30 menit buat debutan yg cuma sempet latian trail 2 kali ke sentul paska JRF dan kebanyakan party di tapering week ok lah yaa? 😬✌🏻
Walaupun tak semulus konten konten bule dan seperti kena tipu-tipu lookbook Satisfy. Tapi aku tidak kapok. Taun depan kita fokus remedial di kategori 15k dulu. Onto the next trail races next year 👀
