/// special guest /// Forster (live) @ffforsterrr is a band project by Mitchell Keaney and Davide Luciani, that draws inspiration from industrial music, dubstep, rave, and noise. The musical landscape explored by Forster is shaped by the convergence of two intentions: one driving toward a subtle rhythmic order and the other exploiting the sonic tension between volume and intensity. Currently based in Berlin, Keaney and Luciani have spent recent years crafting a project that harmonizes their respective approaches to music and performance. The duo employs drum machines, live audio post-processing, and advanced synthesizer techniques to construct a sonic realm guided by their visceral interest in substantial change rather than aesthetic criteria. In 2023, Stray Signals reissued Demeter, the band’s debut EP, which was originally self-released. Recorded in a single live session, Demeter sits between compositional intent and radical improvisation, showcasing the stylistic and sonic strength of Forster’s approach. MOND is the new film from Stefano Canavese and experimental duo Forster - a work forged from rupture, abrasion and analogue-digital malfunction. Rooted in Berlin’s underground, it fuses over-clocked editing, splintered rhythms and volatile experimentation into a feverish audiovisual overload. Echoing Cunningham, Aphex Twin and Autechre, MOND embraces collapse: warped fisheye perspectives, convulsive movement and corrupted CRT textures drag the film toward disintegration. Born from improvisation, hacked gear and shared obsession, it becomes a dialogue between sound and image at the edge of breakdown. Three live performances challenge conventional club aesthetics, scraping off the floor’s grit to reveal a blank canvas for your very own entaglement. Their output is influenced by industrial, dub, rave music and noise-rock. Formed at the end of a 2021 Berliner’s winter transitioning to spring, the duo’s output is an ongoing homage to the visceral indifference of change. @ffforsterrr Aja Ireland is a UK based sound and performance artist. Within her live sets, a comprehensive hardware setup reigns, blending experimental electronic, deconstructed club, industrial techno, noise, and vocal processing. Through the use of drum machines, synths and effects pedals, Aja challenges the audience by breaking down barriers and pushing limits sonically and visually. An improvised journey thematically steeped in empowerment, resilience and mysticism. @ajaireland Nic Krog’s mixture of bass-heavy club music and subversive sound art intertwined with spoken word is characterized by a diaristic approach, documenting mental processes and psychological baggage. The audio play ‚Perfect Pattern‘, is a first foray into an overt narrative style, revolving around obsessive and compulsive traits that revealed themselves in the aftermath of the fight against depression. Human beings fear difference. But there are species out there that long for difference and need it in order to thrive, evolve, and ultimately survive. The first KOOKOO night in 2026 adopts an idea by Octavia E. Butler as a guiding principle for the challenges that may lie ahead: “Embrace difference.” In the second volume of the author's seminal science fiction saga Lilith's Brood, also known as the Xenogenesis Trilogy, the protagonist gives this advice to her son, the first male human-alien child born to a human mother, to help him cope with the conflicts within and around himself.
