Francesca focuses on the moving body as a tool of authentic communication. Through her creative approach she allows both the physical body and the mind to be the guiding elements of an artistic process. The origin of Francesca’s research is based on human traits, such as a gaze or a gesture, which allows for the development of a movement. Inspired by Virginia Woolf, for this process she will work with the flow of consciousness, deeply focusing on how our thoughts are in dialogue with the subconscious and with each other. Participants will be selected by the maker * possibility to join morning training 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 ✺ 🎬 The clips include original creations, co-creations with Giorgia Enrico and Simon Waskow, as well as a very short excerpt from a work entirely choreographed by Chris Jaeger.

(𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘻𝘻𝘰) avevo scoperto il senso della vita, ma poi ho scordato tutto. in quel periodo ero molto impegnata: allevavamo muffe di abitudini.

Aporetico — co-created and performed by Francesca Sacchi and Giorgia Enrico @ffffra_ @nemajio We are excited to share a small glimpse into the first research phase born from our recent choreographic collaboration. A big thanks to @barnescrossingcologne for your award as Duo New Comers and for keep supporting the development of the project. Same goes for @t.off_teatro and Festival Cortoindanza2025 for the wonderful opportunity of presenting the first draft of the piece in Cagliari. Your warmth, your passion and your artistic work are so precious! The beginning of this adventure would have never been possible without all the artists who collaborated and supported our artistic vision Light designer : @brunodc_ Costume design : @gigigonzalez8_ Guitar: @_mannyboy Trombone: @scredyu Electronic sound: @matiasfreccia Filmed by @seb1091 , @fixed_shadows We are beyond grateful for your beautiful work! Summer is always a time of reflection and to take stock for me. The past months have been so enriching and inspiring, and my heart and mind are truly full and grateful. I had a late-night research session yesterday. I thought about all the people I had the chance to cross paths with, work with, or share studio time with during the past season. All of them gave me so much. Sometimes I felt like I was losing the purpose, focusing on results, goals, and gaining. I move because I research and it takes me to places I never thought I’d go. I move because I feel, I move because I share, all the rest must come after. Looking forward to what will come next, with open heart, ears, and eyes.
