I’ve always loved telling stories. Years ago, I watched an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s show about Nigeria, and it left a lasting impression on me. For so long, I had seen documentaries that painted my country in such a negative light, overlooking the Nigeria I know and love—the one filled with hardworking people chasing big dreams, vibrant culture, incredible food, and unshakable resilience.
But this episode was different. For the first time, I felt seen. It wasn’t just a food show—it was a celebration of real people and their stories, told with dignity and authenticity.
That moment stayed with me. It’s the kind of storytelling I aspire to. Through my platform, I want to share stories that connect us, celebrate our humanity, and remind us of the beauty in our shared experiences. And if we can share them over a great meal? Even better.

Visited the opening of the new smoke-free casino at Graton Resort & Casino and wow… they really brought Vegas to the Bay Area 🎰✨
The new rooftop restaurant Aya is absolutely beautiful, and the energy all night was unmatched. From E-40 and Carmen Electra to Hunter Pence and Nikki Garcia, so many amazing faces came out to celebrate.
And of course… ending the night at the after-party concert with E-40 was the perfect way to close it out 🔥🍸
Last night I had dinner with Warriors legends Chris Mullin, Adonal Foyle, Jim Barnett, and Raymond Ridder at Original Joe’s and the conversations were so incredible… I completely forgot to record the food 😂
But trust me — this place is an institution. One of my favorite spots to gather, connect, laugh, and just be present.
The food was amazing.
The stories were even better. ❤️
Sometimes the best moments don’t make it fully on camera.
