Since retiring from basketball in 2017, Warriors center and NBA champion Festus Ezeli has found a new passion: dining at mom-and-pop restaurants across the Bay Area and documenting it on @festusfeasts .
Ezeli prefers to call his culinary adventures a hobby — and himself a “foodie in training.”
“I’m not an influencer, because I’m not doing it to be an influencer,” he says. “I’m just recording my regular life.” He’s certainly having a great time doing it, too.

Visited the opening of the new smoke-free casino at Graton Resort & Casino and wow… they really brought Vegas to the Bay Area 🎰✨
The new rooftop restaurant Aya is absolutely beautiful, and the energy all night was unmatched. From E-40 and Carmen Electra to Hunter Pence and Nikki Garcia, so many amazing faces came out to celebrate.
And of course… ending the night at the after-party concert with E-40 was the perfect way to close it out 🔥🍸
Last night I had dinner with Warriors legends Chris Mullin, Adonal Foyle, Jim Barnett, and Raymond Ridder at Original Joe’s and the conversations were so incredible… I completely forgot to record the food 😂
But trust me — this place is an institution. One of my favorite spots to gather, connect, laugh, and just be present.
The food was amazing.
The stories were even better. ❤️

Taking my mom to a Brazilian steakhouse sounded like a great idea… until I remembered:
❌ No pork
❌ No pink meat
❌ Everything must be WELL DONE 😂
These poor waiters at Galpão Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse kept coming to the table excited just for my mom to send the meat right back 😭🍖
They finally made her a SPECIAL “NO PORK” CARD 😂😂😂
Shoutout to the amazing staff for making sure my mom got exactly what her heart desired. THAT is hospitality ❤️
