The forecast called for storms, cold temperatures, and wind… so we prepared for all of it. Patio heaters were rented. Umbrellas were ready. The venue and vendor team were fully prepped with backup plans and adjusted timelines in case we needed to move indoors. One thing I always tell my couples: We create a thorough Plan B that you can feel completely confident in… and somehow, we usually end up not needing it. In all the plans we make to control circumstances and outcomes, we know we can’t control the weather. But what we can do - create peace, flexibility, and trust no matter what the day brings. And in the end, none of the weather mattered. They were married.
