Hi creatures, just wanna address some things:
- Yes, that is my mother (Lydia) who is mentioned in Dancing for the Devil, along with her lawsuit.
- I found out that, allegedly, the initial discovery of our lawsuit immediately helped SIX dancers wake up and escape the cult. And possibly more since. And possibly will keep others from joining. I CRIED when I found out about those six dancers. I care way more about these precious lives who are free now than us losing the rest of our money losing this lawsuit (R*bert was allegedly protected under “religion”). This is all I had hoped for: To keep people safe and away from them.
- Yes, we were a major part of the cult origin story as original members for 13 years, and as funding for the operation and their various businesses.
- Yes, living 24/7 in the cult that long was that awful. It was actually way, way, way more harrowing than what the documentary covers.
- I’m going to be working on my first video this weekend. I’ve been frozen in waves of intense traumatic memories for weeks, but I see myself slowly thawing. I just became able to leave the house, albeit only to go to my best friends’ living rooms, but progress is progress!
