With the third Fepeste album now out in world, I want to thank some very important people who helped make it a reality.
First, thank you to my wife (
@bethanyajett ) and kids for their encouragement and saintly patience through this whole process. I couldn’t do this without their support. My wife even stepped way outside of her comfort zone and sang some vocals on the album!
Thank you to Thea Noelle (
@taewessels ) for again sharing her beautiful voice on this album, and doing it in the briefest of windows when she was back visiting in the states. Thank you to Nick Webber (
@wicknebber ) for sweeter sax parts than I ever envisioned. My music is much richer for both of their contributions.
Thank you to Jeff Cloud for believing in this album and releasing it through
@velvetbluemusic . I’ve been a fan of his work for a long time, so getting to play a small part (a rabbit from a hat, if you will) in the long and storied history of Velvet Blue Music is a dream come true. And thank you to the legendary Jason Martin (
@sf59 ), my personal musical hero, for mastering the album and making me sound better than I really do.
Thank you to Adam Anglin (
@adamanglinart ) who painted the painting that became the artwork for the album. He is such a talented artist, and I knew the moment I saw this painting that it needed to be the album cover. And thank you to Jaden Bricker (
@jaden_bricker ) for designing the sweet Fepeste logo that’s used in the artwork.
Thank you to the many friends who encouraged me along the way, who listened to early versions, who gave feedback, who had a kind thing to say when it was needed. I hope you know who you are.
Lastly, thank you to you if you’ve given these songs a listen, and doubly thank you if you’ve shared them with someone. It means a lot.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And all glory to our unchanging and sovereign Lord, Jesus Christ.
