Three years ago, we said yes in Brazil, with the ocean, and our friends and family, as our witnesses.
And in these three years, I’ve fallen deeper and deeper in love with you. Today, I hold in my arms the most beautiful gift our love has created, our sweet little Nico.

Matrescence: the journey of becoming a mother: physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.
Carrying and growing little Nico inside me has been the most incredible journey of my life so far. I’ll never forget the joy of that positive test, the ultrasounds, the sweet morning kicks that woke me gently like clockwork. Nico was tender and calm in the womb, and now it’s a blessing to watch him share that same sweetness earthside.
Becoming a mother is so profound, I find myself at a loss for words. It’s giving your all while trying to rediscover who you are. It’s learning that love multiplies, realizing you’ve never felt such deep devotion to another being. It’s being challenged by your former self, by your need for control, and learning to surrender to something far greater.
Motherhood is a sleepy smile when you lift them from the crib, the peace found in their tiny breaths on your shoulder, the awe of seeing in their eyes that you are their safe place. It’s witnessing your partner grow into the most loving, caring father.
Motherhood is everything, and what a privilege it is to become mãe.

The nature of Portland is what first stole my heart – the trees that bring me peace, the spring flowers that spark new hope, the mountains that remind me of my place in the world. Having the chance to honor the infinite beauty of the Pacific Northwest through dynamic art and cutting-edge technology, alongside the most talented and inspired team, was truly a dream come true.
Knowing it will welcome travelers for the next five years feels like a gift beyond imagination. Even more so, the process gave me another gift! @enter_laughing , my right hand, creative partner, and now one of my dearest friends. 🥺
Feeling nostalgic, proud, and endlessly grateful. Life has changed so much since this debut, and I still smile every time friends and family send me notes after spotting something new in the living landscapes we created.

Feeling nostalgic—van build 2020 to 2025—“Dusky” 🌄
When I bought this cargo van, it still had a ‘Brew Dr’ wrap on the outside. Mid pandemic we set out to make it roadtrip worthy. We gutted it, painted it, insulated, cut windows, tinted, wired solar and electrical, laid hardwood flooring, installed sound dampening, roof rack, ceiling fans, built cabinets from scratch with a bench and hidden fridge… so many things.🤤😵💫Honestly… what a pain in the ass. Thank god for YouTube. I learned so much in the process I’m getting the itch 😮💨just thinking about the next build.
Over 5 years, Dusky has become part of the family and has seen the best of the PNW, Cali, NV, and Canada—including basins, deserts, oceans, rainforests, mountains, lakes… 🏔️🏕️too many photos to fit in the grid. I hope you all like her as much as we do. XoXo

this weekend we celebrated life! the 35 years i’ve been on this wild ride called earth and the life growing inside of me, our sweet baby boy.
our friends showered us with an abundance of generosity, love and grace. we couldn’t be happier.

Witnessing the perfect play between Japanese architecture and Mexican artistry at Casa Wabi was breathtaking 🧱
A brutalist dream, surrounded by impeccably curated gardens filled with cacti, with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop and the most monumental embodiment of wabi sabi I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. Casa Wabi was one of those places that gets your inspiration spilling out of you. During the visit, I caught myself scribbling so many exciting ideas I hope to pursue both in my ceramics practice as well as my professional approach to creativity.
