You know it's gonna be a good @brianbowyer99 reading adventure when batshit crazy stuff happens in the first couple of pages. I'm loving Rylie as a weird horse girl/assassin character.
Go grab his newest from @windingrdstories ASAP!
Here is where I'll be at StokerCon in Pittsburgh!
Okay, people. I am not going to lie. The past few months have been a little rough health-wise. I had to drop a few events and space things out. I may be limping about or resting, but I promise I'll be glad to be around you Halloween people.

How to Sedate Yourself and Others will be ready to melt your face off soon!
Ash Keys always knew she was different. As an up-and-coming anesthesiologist who gains sexual dominance in unusual ways, a stint in the seedy underworld of taboo fetishism shakes up her personal and professional life. When Ash’s curiosity about death heightens and intersects with her growing desires, it puts her medical career on a collision course with her emerging sexuality that she may not survive.

Neon vibes before some fun news tomorrow. Stay tuned 😉
I made my profile public for a little while if anybody feels like sharing and spreading the word.
Once in a blue moon, this little story gets a spike in downloads for some reason. No idea why, but I'm grateful. Men typically hate it and women usually like it. The men who do enjoy it are very cool.
People are usually shocked when they meet me in person.
"You're more...demure than I thought you'd be."
"Why are you so quiet?"
"You're not who I thought you were."
I could only really do "that kind of work' over the phone. The Mistress-y persona you sometimes see here is who I WISH I was. I did get to step into her pleaser boots every so often, which was empowering. In all honesty, I'm still a bit shy and I'm still nurturing that lonely, traumatized, and isolated little girl who lived in rural Louisiana and felt like an alien in this world. This story was so healing for me to write. 🖤
Thanks for reading and if you see me at StokerCon, come say hello and I'll give you a sticker. 🖤
Did not expect to get last minute knee surgery, but okay. Now I can heal in time to go to StokerCon and do summer swimming.
Injuries are a part of living life imo, especially if you're active.
Posted this on stories yesterday but am posting here in case there are any family folks I missed.
The good news is I'll have lots of time to catch up on reading before StokerCon and time to work on the ol' memoir.
Also, fuck AI :)
I guess all of us with books coming out this year probably feel like this, but as Toni Morrison said, "All good art is political! There is none that isn't. And the ones that try hard not to be political are political by saying, 'We love the status quo.'"
2026 = trying to live deliciously here and there while fighting fascism.
First photo is me with Anubis at the Smith Museum. Second is from a recent goth night at Check Point Charlie's. Last photo is my new patch from PatchWitchPDX on Etsy.
