⭐️Our featured director this month is Lynn El Safah⭐️ El Safah is a Lebanese filmmaker based in London, whose work reimagines the concept of home, pushing it beyond the confines of geography. A graduate of the American University in Beirut, she later pursued a Master’s in Documentary Fiction at University College London, where she deepened her exploration of ethical storytelling. With a keen embrace of subjectivity, Lynn’s films invite audiences to question established truths. She likens her craft to “painting with reality,” subverting the traditional notion of documentary objectivity. For Lynn, the camera is not a detached observer but a character in its own right, shaping the narrative. To see her film How have you been? (2023) join us Monday Feb 17th @rai.associacio for Voices from Lebanon pt. 1 and stay for an intimate Q&A with the director 🎞️ MNT is a programme by @ratitafilms & @revive_socialart Esp Lynn El Safah es una cineasta libanesa radicada en Londres, cuyo trabajo redefine el concepto de hogar, llevándolo más allá de las fronteras geográficas. Para ver su película How Have You Been?
