a weekend well spent🫡 2 sick events on fri / sat Friday was basement settings with the @heavysonics crew. Always a good sign when there’s heads dancing all the way up until 3am. On set with wicked DJs @holliee.blu @maddersuk @maxcontra all heavyweight selections the place was moving! Shouts to the Heavy Sonics team, building something very special 👌 Saturday night was the first @grounded.uk back on the @mezzanineldn of 2026, without doubt the best yet. Absolutely rammed in there, turned into a sauna by the end. Had to big up the air con crew. On set with @james_spyro @jacobhighettt @revan_bristol and a mega close out with @bluck.dnb ❄️ then it was x2 tactical cheeseburgers and uber home. thought I’d be more tired but feeding off the arsenal suffering vastly expedited my recovery buzzing for some of the events coming up. just getting started 🙏

Well… that was sick! Taken a couple days to gather thoughts after the crazy @grounded.uk x @themcresidence event on Saturday night. Jacob & I knew it would be a good one but safe to say we weren’t expecting to pretty much sell out the venue. The room had this unique energy to it the whole night, people completely going for it, no bad vibes, embracing the variety of music we programmed. Gives hope that the underground is still very much alive, and that the MC is still integral to the rave experience. Promised myself I’d enjoy the wins more this year and this felt like a big one. Huge shouts to all the DJs I was on the mic for @doveandbass @kcodnb @aqai.uk @jedbleach all with some of the best selections I’ve heard. And then the MCs, nothing short of a masterclass from @mcfokus @mantmast @kaisant_ @tii.artist @slimistmc representing the MC RESIDENCE side of the event. 90mins was too short for the Flowcase headline set, could have enjoyed that for hours. MC culture live and on display 🎤 What a way to start the year. Closing set with @jacobhighettt & myself live on soundcloud now. Question is… shall we run it back?
