V LEGACY is a groundbreaking 6-month development lab from V Recordings founders Jumpinā Jack Frost & Bryan Gee, bringing together Jungle & Drum & Bass pioneers, industry mentors and cultural specialists to discover and nurture the next generation of talent.

Closing out for Christmas with a little recap of session 2 and a bit of reflection on the V Legacy program š
Session 2 really reminded us why this thing exists. The level of talent, hunger, and originality coming from these young people is honestly unreal, and we feel genuinely blessed to be playing a part in what are, without doubt, going to be long and successful music careers.
In session 2 we had industry legends pouring into the next generation: DJ Rap, DJ Krust, and of course head of the label Bryan Gee sharing deep-rooted wisdom, alongside Philth and Promo Zo all who were collectively teaching not just production, but identity, longevity, and how to move through this industry with intention. Weāve also been gearing them up with the practical side of getting seen, with Annastasia guiding a session on social media & marketing.
Massive respect to everyone involved, plenty more to come. The future of this scene is in very good hands š

The first V LEGACY Session set the tone beautifully.
Emerging artists met the originators, Jumpinā Jack Frost, DJ Rap, Goldie, Bailey, Philth, Julia Toppin for an afternoon that connected generations and reminded us what this culture was built on š¤
We traced the social and cultural foundations of Jungle / DnB, explored what makes a remix powerful and respectful, and reflected on identity, mindset and resilience in the creative journey.
Every conversation came back to the same idea:
bring your authentic self. honour the legacy. evolve the sound.

The V-Legacy program is officially up and running šš½āØ Weāve got 12 incredibly talented young people who will be learning every aspect of the music business over the next six months.
From myself and Bryan Gee, alongside our partners at Code and Culture, this has been months of planning every detail to make sure our chosen 12 can really make an impact and go on to have wonderful careers in the business.
This program means so much to all of us involved, and we canāt wait to see how far these young stars will go. šš¶

Our 12 chosen candidatesāeach one talented and dedicatedāworked incredibly hard to earn their place in the final 12. Yesterday, they began their journey with our mentors, and you could already see the growth starting.
To make things even more memorable, we had a very special guest drop ināGoldie, fresh off a 16-hour flight from Thailandāand the inspiration he brought into the room was priceless.
