A couple years ago @nathanwinkelmes texted me letting me know he was entering an inpatient rehab program, and felt a close enough friendship with me that he wanted to let me know he’d be off the grid for a while, and couldn’t wait to catch up after.
I don’t say this for a social media post, but that small moment of trust meant alot to me.
Getting to have Nate return to the podcast last year and helping shed some light on his full story and experience of achieving his sobriety simply felt good.
This show, towards the end, started being even more “open journal dives” than it ever was and i loved that.
