We’re asking for changes to Oxford Street! 📣 As a collective of the five businesses on the street, supported by @bristolbid and @_theurbanists , we’re calling for improvements to elevate our street to create a true destination. We’re seeking: changes to the road space to provide more space for outdoor seating, recognition as a key urban high street and the opening of the remaining arches on the street. A rare photo of the three of us responsible for running FCP! We’re Jonny, Rosy and Fency ✨👋🏼✨ We all started out as Baristas at the shop before taking over the reins. We’ve slowly grown the business, welcomed lots of new customers, and made plenty of friends along the way (alongside our small but mighty team — Finn, Dan, Charlie and Sean). These days we’re also three very sleepy parents who care a lot about roasting and brewing you delicious coffee ☕ Thanks for being here and for continuing to support what we do 🙂

We’re settling in to our new roastery site on Oxford Street in Temple Quay. Huge thanks to Ash @roastmastersolutions for installing our ducting and to @coffeemachinessale for sorting our afterburner. It feels great to be (mostly) up and running in the new space and the two stronghold roasters are churning out some very tasty coffees! ✨ Hit up the website for orders, and if you’re a coffee shop open a wholesale account through the wholesale tab on our website. The coffee bar side has a bit more work to do before we open to the public but we’ll show some progress soon! ✨

Is it summer? Is it winter? Who knows at this rate ✨ The iced lattes are tasting great with our new espresso ✨MIO TANOSO✨ This is a Honey Mundo Novo from Brazil ✨ As an espresso it’s got a lot of Brazil nut a bright citrus, treacle sweetness and a dark chocolate fin ✨ As a milky it’s creamy, + nutty, there’s some choccy and a malted milk biscuit to finish✨ This coffee is available on the shelf and online ✨📦✨ Importer: @mio.fazenda Harvest: 2025/2026 Per-Kilogram green price: £7.03 Amount purchased: 830kg

All set up for this weekend’s East Bristol Brewery Trail! We’ll be here from 11am on Saturday and Sunday serving Jairo Arcila, a strawberry fermented Castillo that a lot of you loved when it was on at the shop! We’ll be serving espressos, flat whites as well as iced flat whites and iced long blacks. We’ll also be pouring the coffee sour beer (using the exact same coffee) we did with @unwinsbrewery from 12pm! Can’t wait to see some of you outside our new home on Oxford Street, BS2 0QT!

We’re making a coffee beer! Well, Tom of @unwinsbrewery is brewing a beer with our coffee. It’s a strawberry and wine yeast fermented washed Castillo by Jairo Arcila in Quindío, Colombia. The whole beans have been added into a 3.4% simple sour beer acidified with lactobacillus, a light and fruity palate cleanser! Tom will be serving it on his brewery taproom and we will be serving in our roastery doorway during @eastbris.brew this weekend. We’ll be kicking off from 12pm Saturday and Sunday on Oxford Street, BS2 0QT. As we are waiting for the last few bits of our Roastery Coffee bar, we will have an espresso machine set up out the front, serving up the same strawberry fermented coffee on espresso from 11am. We’ll also have ice, so if you need to get caffeinated before or during the East Bristol Brewery trail we’re here for you!
