Some folks still think that if you don’t clock in at a 9–5, you don’t work. Meanwhile, creatives have been building jobs, building industries, building culture — long before some of y’all got your diplomas. Entrepreneurship isn’t a hobby it’s infrastructure. Some of the same people who once said “you can’t make money doing that” now own venues that depend on DJs, artists, marketers, and creative thinkers.
This economy is changing. Layoffs are real. Stability isn’t guaranteed. But creativity creates employment — and some of us are the future employers.

Every 3rd Saturday at @parkmanor75 I curate a live DJ experience where the music and the spirits speak to each other. Each month brings a different guest selector; a different featured pour from @220wineandspirits ; and a different feeling in the room. That variance is intentional. Jazz to house. Soul to global rhythm. Light pours to deep ones. The music, wine and cocktails shift together so the evening never feels the same twice.
