I go through pretty great lengths to not have any tool marks visible on my parts. To me there’s a very special feeling when it looks like the part was molded out of a single piece of material and has the soft satin touch to match. It’s a common misconception that the low pressure blasting hides them but it doesn’t at all. It requires parts to be made with speeds and feeds dialed, quality tooling and the correct order of operations.

👋🏻 Been a little quiet here lately. I’m not going to lie… about 3-4 months ago I burnt out hard, it’s real folks 🔥. For the past 3 years I’ve been working full time in the tech industry and logging another 40-50 hours on the nights and weekends on FARR Frameworks. It equates to about 100 out of the 112 waking hours of my week. It’s easy it get caught up in the hustle culture especially with social media portraying all these incredibly driven and successful stories in your face 24/7. I woke up one morning and realized while I love what I do there were things in other parts of my life that I had neglected. So I made a decision to pump the brakes a bit, ride more with friends, spend time with my amazing family, and start a new project @moonraker.design.studio that has a longer term goal to live life outside a bit more. I’ve started a new YouTube over there where I get to do something completely different to reinvigorate my creativity and passion. I’m not stopping FARR Frameworks, but I will be scaling back capacity a bit working a couple nights a week through the spring and focusing on finally clearing my backlog and current inventory if you want something let me know! Thanks everyone for the support. I love this community and cherish the opportunity I’ve been given to continue to serve it! I promise I’ll finally make my Frameset Fixture next year. But for now I’ll most likely see you in the mountains ⛰️.

REV B of the #BFF🖤 is officially locked🔒. It’s a bit sad all the details and thought that goes into this doesn’t show at this level, but it should leave for a bit of surprise and delight as things come together. Preorders open Monday June 6th & pricing is on the website. That includes everything in this image (tube holders galore, chainring checker, one set of BB cups, one HT puck, integrated purge, etc) except for the stand. The stand will be a kit and pricing to come on that shortly. Oh and because this design lends itself so nicely to it there will be a Fork Fixture attachment for the rear end for a $200 adder. Giving you a complete pro level frame set manufacturing setup for significantly less investment then having to buy two tools ✌🏻. I don’t post very much actual bike content anymore as almost as my free time is spent on tools these days. But here’s one from the archives #tbt. This was bike #2 for me. A lugged road frame built on a piece of MDF using shims and the “string” method for the rear end. This bike carried me to and from work for almost 3 years and logged almost ~6000 miles before I built its replacement.

5 photos of the “FARR Frameworks 5 Finger Flute Maker” Prototype. This was conceived during my joint MTB build with @neuhaus_metalworks . He was using the Bottle Boss Boss to drill cable guides and we decided there was a better way so we sketched something out and I went to town, CADtown that is. Then along came @obikeco drilling even more holes than us and it morphed into what it is today… #theflutemaker.

It drills perfectly indexed note holes along the length of the tube complete with a scale for repeated setups. Also the blocks are perfectly sized so when you combine them together you get bottle boss spacing 🙌🏻!
