On this year’s annual leg-murdering event commonly known as #bsrides500 I paired with
@robbyansyah_ (who took some of the pictures shown here) for our first time ever long distance ride. And not by some coincidence as well, we both ride on
@rideshimano ’s full wireless drivetrain; GRX RX827 on Robby’s
@simworks Doppo, and XTR/Dura Ace/Ultegra combo on my
@legorcicli LWTUA. Although I have to bail out early due to physical injury (I can faintly hear
@joshie_t smirking while reminding me that it is—and I can’t stress this enough—what it is) and only managed to clock 342km distance and 5,284m elevation gain out of the event’s 500km/8,000m, it’s all great fun, especially since my mullet drivetrain setup didn’t skip a beat at all.
