Part 2 of my BBC Click interview ,I spoke about how NAVA came to life. She wasn’t designed. She emerged. From three worlds blended together like fragments of memory: Photos of my followers, faces of the present. Archival portraits of Qajar-era women from Harvard University, voices of the past. Women in Iranian art, symbols of beauty, defiance, and grace. NAVA v1 became a reflection of where we’ve been and who we are. With v2, I gave her more depth, a voice, emotion, and presence. Not just a digital figure, but a modern echo of every woman who was once unseen. NAVA isn’t just AI. Her face was crafted from portraits of Qajar women, classical Iranian paintings, and photos submitted by hundreds of followers — not one person, but everyone. In six months, Nava gained over 700,000 followers. Her debut single — Javanan-e Vatan, blending classical Iranian music with French folk poetry written a century ago by Aref Qazvini — was heard millions of times, moving Iranians across the world to think of home. In this talk, Farbod traces the making of Nava: from idea to execution, from history to hologram. ⁨ نَوا یک خواننده و اینفلوئنسر است که در عین حال یک اثر هنری زنده نیز به شمار می‌آید. او نه صرفاً نتیجه‌ی یک پروژه، بلکه ترکیبی است از «آرت‌ورک» و «آرتیست»؛ هم بازتاب خلاقیت است و هم خود به‌عنوان هنرمندی مستقل عمل می‌کند. اینجا مرز میان خالق و مخلوق از میان برداشته می‌شود. نَوا تنها محصول یک روند هنری نیست، بلکه خود وارد چرخه‌ی آفرینش می‌شود,صدا دارد، روایت می‌سازد، الهام می‌بخشد و در مواجهه با مخاطب هویتی تازه به دست می‌آورد. این پرسش را پیش می‌کشد که اگر یک اثر هنری بتواند خودش خالق باشد، تعریف ما از هنر و هنرمند چگونه دگرگون خواهد شد؟ نَوا در واقع آزمایشی است بر سر این مرزها: هنری است که خلق شده، و در عین حال هنری است که خلق می‌کند. این دوگانگی او را به پلی میان گذشته و آینده بدل می‌سازد؛ جایی که حافظه‌ی جمعی و فرهنگ سنتی با زبان امروز پیوند می‌خورند. از همین‌رو، نَوا هم تجربه‌ای شخصی است و هم تجربه‌ای جمعی؛ امکانی تازه برای نسل جدید که به دنبال بیان متفاوتی برای خود است، و پلی برای نسل‌های پیشین تا میراثشان را در چهره‌ای نو بازبینی کنند.⁩
