🚌🚨 Disruption to Buses – Station Road, Penryn – 5 May to 5 June 2026
Due to what is now an emergency 24 hour road closure on Station Road, Penryn there will be diversions on services leaving Falmouth.
This is now expected to be until the 5th June 2026.
Affected routes: 3, 32, 32A, 33, 42, 69, 69A
Services 3, 32, 32A, 33 leaving Falmouth will be unable to stop to serve Penryn Railway station, opposite Harbour View, or Opposite Packsaddle Estate. Buses will divert via Kernick Road and the A39 between Penryn Campus/Treliever Roundabout (32).
This is particularly affecting those using the bus services from the train station and the Sidings. For full details please visit the Transport for Cornwall website.
🦔 Final Sustainability Event - Wednesday 13 May, 14:00-16:00pm, Penryn Campus
All students, staff and the community are invited to volunteer to join our final Sustainability event taking place at Penryn campus.
Attendees will help to set more hedgehog tunnels to track hedgehogs and better understand which areas of campus are supporting healthy ecosystems.

🚲 Free bike repair and security marking at Penryn Campus - Thursday 23 April 🛡️
Free bike repair, maintenance and security marking will be available on Thursdays 23 & 30 April and 7 & 14 May, from 10am–4pm, outside the Stannary on the Penryn Campus.
The Walk, Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) will be returning to campus to offer:
🚴 Free bike safety checks and tune‑ups
🔐 Free bike security marking
🦺 Advice on cycling safely and maintaining your bike
You don’t need to bring a bike to take part — pop along for a chat and pick up active travel information, including local walking, cycling and public transport routes 🗺️
The sessions are open to all students, staff and visitors.

🎫 New University Discount for £20 off Adult Weekly Bus Ticket 🚌
Following discussions with Go Cornwall, and thanks to feedback from students and staff, bus users with a valid university email address (Falmouth University, University of Exeter, FX Plus and the SU) can now get £20 off the Adult Weekly Ticket (usually £40) when using the Transport for Cornwall app.
With the new university discount applied the ticket offers unlimited travel across all of Cornwall, for seven consecutive days, for just £20.
The university discount now makes the Adult Weekly Ticket better value than many other 7-day unlimited travel options, such as the Young Person’s (19-25) All of Cornwall 7-day bundle (£32), Town Zone Ticket 7-day bundle (£28) and Under 19 All of Cornwall unlimited 7-day bundle (£24).

Our Grounds and Gardens Team shone brightly at the Falmouth Spring Flower Show 2026 — bringing back to campus two trophies, including the historic Shrub Trophy, plus a stunning collection of gold, silver and bronze awards. 🌸🏆
From vibrant rhododendrons to beautiful spring flowers and bold succulents, the team’s hard work and passion was on display for all to see.

We’ve recently upgraded the pay stations and parking system across our Penryn Campus car parks. You can now pay for parking using the Trust Parking app 📲
💡 If you enable features like Auto‑Pay, your vehicle will be recognised automatically at the barriers. You’ll be charged as you exit, and a receipt will be emailed to you — no need to visit a pay station 🙌

🌍 This Global Recycling Day we are celebrating 86 Too Good To Go bags saved 🛍️
Did you know? The Penryn campus shop saves good food from going to waste via the @toogoodtogo.uk app, a platform where you can rescue surprise food bags containing perfectly good food, that would otherwise be destined for the bin, at great value prices.
In the last 12 months, 86 bags have been saved which is the equivalent of 232kg of Carbon emissions avoided 💚
