FALL SHOCK EP - SENSORY OVERLOAD is out today on Bandcamp for BCF 🔌🔊🫨 Back with 2 fresh takes on a time in crisis, where every bit of information is tipping us over the edge, byte by bit, frying our brains, our sensors…. OVERLOAD. Francesco recalls coming up with the lead track by completely shutting himself off from the world, even blocking out first day light, letting his internal pulse recalibrate, forging melancholic memories of his first musical true love, the drums and the energy inside that had been silenced by the outside noise, something we all experience. Sometimes you need to shut yourself off and detox to know who you truly are. Sensory Overload tries to emulate this exact feeling, Squelching bass stabs cycling through the sirens of repetition. ’So Freaks… Energy’ intertwined with chopped vocals, pitched up and down …Chaos build and release, the perpetual embrace of the system we now all depend on. Wing Clipper is a love letter to the illegal raves of London circa 1997, a moment of time Francesco holds deeply in his memories. The freedom of expression without predetermined judgement, openness, embrace, equality and respect for your fellow ravers, P L U R. Something we could do with a lot more of in recent times. With each restart, something new comes in, everything is connected, everything has been calibrated. There is constant theme of nostalgia that runs through Francesco’s music which we keep falling in love with at PS HQ, a future past sensibility, like you have felt this feeling before, timeless but presented in a fresh format.
