This is deffs an existential depression core album (lol)- the outcome of my younger self working through heavier feelings of rage, fear, depression, power struggles, low self worth, and just aaaaangst. In hindsight I was translating those emotions to be understood and held and I hope you can feel connected to that. Feels vulnerable af, but that's what music can do for us. I really hope these songs bring something valuable to your day.
It's really fking weird promoting music right now for obvious reasons but I want to thank everyone sincerely for your love and support over the years ♥ I'm very privileged to get to do what I love and express myself like this and it's never taken for granted. Acknowledging with respect the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people who are the Traditional Owners of the land I made this album on.

This is a special song, the first one I made for this 3 years ago. We've come a long way since then, but it's worth honouring.
This is a song about all the strong Asian femmes breaking down historically harmful stereotypes about who we are- both in the public eye and for ourselves. We are expansive, unfixed, diverse, expressive, and amazing.
Not gonna lie releasing music at this point in time given the escalating genocide in Palestine and the grief of so many is conflicting and weird. But I hope this song is a motivator in your day to keep challenging the structures that try to control people for profit and power. I hope it brings some charging energy for you to keep being the best version of yourself for the world, whoever you are. Love is power.
I feel so grateful to get to create music on Wurundjeri country with acknowledgement that sovereignty of this land's First Peoples was never ceded.
