March 20 marks World Flour Day, observed by mills, bakeries, and food producers around the world 🌾
This year’s theme, Flour is Life, is a reminder that for many communities, flour is more than a pantry staple. It plays a direct role in nourishment, education, and daily life. It is something we see every day at the mill, in the loaves baked, the meals shared, and the traditions carried on.
At Fairhaven Mill, we believe community is the way, and this week, we are bringing that idea close to home. From March 20th-26th, for every 5 lb. of flour purchased, we will donate 1 lb. to Helping Hands Food Bank & Solution Center, supporting families here in Skagit County.
Helping Hands distributed more than 1.8 million pounds of food in 2025, providing essential support across the region. This week, your purchase helps put a staple like flour into more homes in our community.
