10 years of Fade Out Label! These were some of the first pieces I presented in Paris during the Who’s Next fair in January 2015, and for which FADE OUT Label was awarded “BEST DESIGNER OF THE YEAR 2015”...we haven’t stopped since! It started as a game and has become a true international brand! It was the first time at that fair that a completely upcycling brand presented a true unisex and zero-waste collection that could be ordered by buyers in different colors and sizes, reproducible but always unique pieces! The V&A museum from London, was very impressed by our patchwork method and contacted me to ask to write a piece for their book “patchwork & quilting” (one of the greatest emotions of my life! I still jealously keep a copy in my studio)
I also remember that some disgusted retailers refused to even touch the garments, because they were made with used fabrics... so much has changed since then! We were truly at the right time, with the right product!
These pieces are still available in our “Permanent Collection” to order (as in 2015!) Timeless!
