The Verbier community has recently been rocked by the loss of local revered mountain guide, Adam George. One week ago, his life was tragically cut short in a helicopter accident that also claimed two others on the Petit Combin, one of the many peaks that famously overlook the Verbier area. Being a devoted father and husband, his life mission was also to make the mountains a safer, more enjoyable place. He garnered the nickname ‘the President’ during his time in the Utah desert, and for many years continued contributing to the local and global mountain guide community. Being one of Faction’s brand ambassadors, this loss is felt particularly sharply amongst our team. Adam leaves behind his wife and daughter who would hugely benefit with your support at this immensely difficult time. ⛷️ Touring with The Faction Collective ⛷️ ❄️ Feb 3rd and 4th, in Vallorcine, France ❄️ Join us for a ski touring weekend overlooking the Mont Blanc massif. Spend two days with mountain guides, test our skis, and learn about snow safety. La Loriaz hut will be our base for the night. Spaces limited to 20 participants.
