✨come be colourful ✨
Themes of flow and the ephemeral nature of performance and connection. I find performing to be a time of intense presence and energetic output; I have attempted to create a representation of this feeling in this collection.

Thanks to Fran Reeve for her fabulously fun workshop, Utilising Flow State as a Creative Tool.
We explored flow as an embodied, intuitive approach to creative expression whilst exploring the vivid territory of imagination.
Together we embraced presence, ritual, and openness as gateways to creative momentum.
The workshop celebrated diverse approaches to creativity, inviting each person to discover where flow may lead them.

UTILISING FLOW STATE AS A CREATIVE TOOL_ Experiential in-person workshop led by Tasmanian artist and performer Fran Reeve.
Participants will explore flow as an embodied, intuitive approach to creative expression whilst exploring the vivid territory of imagination.
Fran says, ‘playing is serious business’. She is an artist committed to exploration rather than confinement and resists being limited to a single discipline.
The workshop acknowledges the origins of the term ‘flow’ as introduced by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, who described it as a state where actions and intention merge, and creativity becomes embodied.
Building on this foundation, the workshop approaches flow through an artistic lens, where we embrace presence, ritual, and openness as gateways to creative momentum.
This workshop is ideal for:
• Anyone wishing to re-enchant their creative expression.
• Individuals wanting to explore flow through embodied, intuitive, or sensory creative practices.
• People seeking reconnection with their creative instincts or looking for new ways to access ease and momentum.
• Those open to creative exploration without pressure or predetermined goals.
Participants of all levels and backgrounds are welcome.

I wanted to have a lil moment to reflect on 2025 because I put a lot into it ❤️
The last year of my 20s, my first solo exhibition and the start of my performance career, created a puppet for a professional production, spoke at the UTAS Arts Forum, started teaching hoop and puppet making workshops... I'm feeling grateful to my body for bringing me to this point in my life. I'm grateful for my brain and passion and the strategies I've learnt through the years to look after myself and make it possible to do this. Staying present and doing The Thing. Hours and hours of sculpting clown faces in my studio listening to the Artist Athlete Podcast. Pep talking myself in the car, learning the lip sync in the car, doing make up in the car. I made lots of messes and silly hats and costumes. I got very sweaty a lot and practiced hula hooping alone in a big room a lot. Loved that part. Wore wigs, still doing that. Working in an insane underground museum with wonderful people who accept me exactly as I am every day.
I got to perform and be a part of festivals like Mid Winter Fest, Junction, Dark Mofo and Panama; and cabarets like Altar Ego, Cabaret of Curiosities and QT Cabaret ❤️ I'm so excited to be doing what I always wanted to do since I was 7 years old. I'm so grateful to ROOKE for having me in their mentorship program and helping me to achieve my dreams. I'm also so grateful for my boyfriend, Kiah, my sister, Hannah and my beautiful friends ❤️ there aren't enough words but I am endlessly grateful for your support ❤️
Discipline has entered the chat. Hellooo 30 ❤️ ready and willing 🎪
