@andreschoorlemmer is onze componist verantwoordelijk voor de spannende en emotionele muziek van de film. Vanuit zijn studio in voormalig gevangenis Wolvenplein maakt hij melancholische neo-classieke muziek met elektronische invloeden die hij niet alleen componeert maar ook met eigen instrumenten opneemt. Voor deze film is hij al voor de opnames begonnen met muzikale schetsen en in de nabewerking zal hij ook een deel van de sound-design op zich nemen.
De Sound design en mix is in handen van Poul Sven de Haan @faboem Poul mixt al vele jaren audio voor TV, documentaires, podcasts, corporate video en speelfilms en werkt daarbij veel ook met freelancers die sound-design of foley toevoegen. Vanuit zijn studio in leiden zal de film in knisperend surround sound worden gemixt zodat je als kijker helemaal het verhaal ingezogen gaat worden.
De basis van een goede audiomix is natuurlijk goede geluidsopname! En daarvoor zijn we blij dat @jonaswinkelmann.cmp voor ons het setgeluid gaat opnemen. Jonas is een jonge gedreven geluidskunstenaar en vormt de helft van het geluidsbedrijf @figureeightaudio Samen met zijn collega Job Boots maken ze originele muziek, creëren ze sound design en nemen ze dus ook audio op voor verschillende media.

Enjoying a series of short nature films at the Wildlife Film Festival in Rotterdam. At Faboem, we mixed the openingsfilm ‘Euphonia’ about a young nature guide called Gerald, working for a nature reserve in Costa Rica, by filmmaker Bram Sturm.
Impressive films.
And very happy hearing our mix in the theatre.
Enjoying the zoom h2n recordings made on location by Bram. It really made the mixing so much more fun, with the 4 track nature recordings.

Very proud of the work we’ve done making the feature documentary about this tradition in Leiden, going back more than 450 years and the start of the oldest remaining university of The Netherlands, sound awesome! The filmposter is shining on the studio door. Looks good with the red acoustic panels and white walls.
The goal was to capture the feeling and experience of #3oktober.
The sold out screenings tell and reactions show we did just that.

The last weeks, we’ve been busy mixing a 77 minute documentary about Leidens Ontzet, called #tismaareensperjaar by @dejongvince@thimaud_1 and @michielvoogt .
Yesterday, the hard work by the cast and crew was rewarded with a long standing ovation during the premiere at the @bioscopenleiden .
The goal was to capture the spirit of #3october celebration, in which the filmmakers succeeded! Also thanks to the (in)famous Leidenaren @jochemmyjer@arminvanbuuren@ionicasmeets@barrybadpaknl among others, who helped tell the story.

Recording ADR with the fantastic @alexx_onell for an Indian feature was so much fun to do. Besides the fact that he can nail sync easily, he’s also fun and easy to work with.
Can’t wait to see the movie, but we’ll have to wait a few months.

Fams en Kelly werden verliefd toen Kelly als vrijwilliger werkte in het azc waar Fams verbleef. Sindsdien bouwen ze aan hun relatie, terwijl Fams' asielprocedure voortduurt. Hoe gaan ze om met de onzekerheid en het eindeloze wachten? En wat doet dit met hun relatie?
De korte documentaire is om 18:30 te zien op NPO2 bij het programma Noord-Zuid-Oost-West.
