The jewelry label 17 was launched in 2006. Stephanie’s textile background is apparent in each of her pieces. In City Whisperings, the artists explore the city as a living organism – constantly in motion, ever evolving. A city in transformation: between renovation and decay, shadow and light, industry and nature. Their collaboration grew out of a shared fascination with how people shape and decorate the city – consciously and unconsciously. The lines, layers and contrasts they observe in the urban landscape are reflected in their work. Through both individual and collaborative pieces, Wieke and Fabienne pay homage to this constant state of change. Their creations offer an intimate ritual of looking, reflecting and re-shaping – a poetic translation of the city and the imagination. Live Music at Club Frigo Starting at 8 PM, join us at Club Frigo (same location) for a live performance by Bambola, a Ghent-based band inspired by the golden age of Italian pop from the 1960s and ’70s. Expect sultry melodies, summery nostalgia, and irresistible rhythms.
