I’ve reimagined the biblical destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in a contemporary context. An island-city called Sodom is comprised entirely of men who can breed with men. They are annexed by the United States in 1981 with a special interest in the island’s rich cobalt reserves. Lot, an American settler and member of the mining company “Epsilon Lux’s” board of directors is declared the victor of an election after the royal family of Sodom is overthrown. Years later, a sodomite by the name of Baxa loses his fathers after a deadly run in with the American settler authorities. Mass protests pressure Lot and his family to adopt Baxa. Baxa is adopted but is forced to work as a servant by the governing family who remains in power for more than 40 years.
This issue follows Baxa’s life, his disgust for how poorly the Americans have treated the Sodomites, and his almost omniscient demystified perspective on how the Americans profit off of apartheid and genocide.
This issue discusses sensitive and serious topics related to violence, abuse, apartheid, and genocide. I created this to bring awareness to these issues and help explain the reasons marginalized groups and resource-rich foreign countries are calculatedly victimized by the United States.
I will be selling this issue at Singers on April 10th from 8pm-12am at the “Sodom” comic release starting at $35. This is a queer publication with a specific intended audience of queer people. There are two posters that come with the purchase of this work. One is the detachable sheath whose front and back is featured in slides 18 and 19. The other is Bulletshrimp! Pinball which is featured on slide 20.

@singersny this Friday April 10th 8pm-12am (as many of you know) I’ll be releasing my next @bulletshrimp comic. Bulletshrimp! Comics: Sodom issue #0003
@bulletshrimp is a queer book and comic series blending accesible photo aesthetics inspired by sci-fi pulp fiction Americana, high-editorial design, and short stories written by me and my lovely team of writers @thejk.wang and @_saffronia_ with occasional special contributors.
The purpose of @bulletshrimp is to build community and create an intersectional work that will collectively become all encompassing of the complexites of the queer American experience through the introduction of other writers as the series grows.
For issue #0003 (of which you can view select spreads in my previous post) deals with apartheid and genocide as applicable to global events such as the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza in relation to a contemporary retelling of the destruction of the biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, two sinful homosexual civilizations.
In times like these where we see trans people and undocumented immigrants continuously scapegoated to distract from a severely incompetent and moronic second Trump administration shoveling our tax dollars into a genocide in Palestine, and an illegal and costly war in Iran which we aren’t winning, I encourage you to come to the comic release and come take a look at this work.
I’m also happy to announce we’ll have DJs @tasheffmatthew@heyfaybae@micahpgg all night long
I often thought about how I could help inspire change and help hold the United States accountable in such an apathetic world. This is my answer. I’m certain that this is my greatest work to date.
Please share with your queer friends.

SEA OF GREEN (March 2026 on Summer 2023)
I wrote and designed a memoir about my coming-of-age experiences from my beautiful summer of 2023 in New York. This was my first summer as an adult working in the city.
I fell very deeply and madly in love with a coworker, I was out until 5am every weekend, and I was introduced to amazing and grounding queer people who have helped me become the person I am today and set the foundation for my community of friends.
New York, Summer 2023, you just had to be there. I desperately wanted to know the wealth of a New York summer’s warmth and I did. The title comes from an intimate moment I shared with my future boyfriend before I left for school in Los Angeles the next day. We carried the whole night and spent the morning in each other’s arms at Washington Square Park. We went to sleep and when I opened my eyes, I felt I had never been surrounded by so much green.
The intention for this project was to translate my style into a more professionally presented project outside of the playfulness of Bulletshrimp using abstract, geometric forms for experimenting with text and a strict green and white color palette.
Not for sale because I hold nothing back in this. But if you were a part of that summer, thank you very much.
