Today, we showed up at the New York State Capitol in Albany to demand real protection for our communities. We rallied alongside partners, organizers, and community members calling on governor Hochul and New York legislators to pass the New York for All Act @ny4all_ and the Dignity Not Detention Act—in full.
BDLI and @instabaji was proud to be in the building, standing with and for Black migrants and immigrant communities who deserve dignity, safety, and freedom.
The message was clear: New York must choose people over punishment.
