Said goodbye to my safest place in the world. It has seen me through my highest highs and my lowest lows. All the breakups and breakdowns that I wanted to hide from my parents, my first super in love otp call with my first boyfriend lol, and the many many sleepless nights of design school. Ah, too many memories.
But my favourite ones will honestly be when it was shared. Shared with my arwah nenek who had a secret stash of snacks that my parents always said no to, shared with my sisters who always had random middle-of-the-night, towel-wrapped deep convos, and shared with my husband from the wedding night until well, just last night.
30 years worth of memories is a crazy amount of time to say goodbye to. I think I handled it pretty well, though. Haha.

Thirty, (Not Flirty Anymore), & Thriving ✨
Three cakes for three decades, MashaAllah. Blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Excited for this new era! Thirties lesgooooo~
4/100: On our way to Dallas from Austin, we dropped by this quaint little town called Waxahachie and it seemed like time stood still. Vintage victorian buildings, brick walls and retro architecture. It was as if we stepped right into the set of an 80s movie. Loved it so much!
Day 3/100
Had a 9h layover in San Francisco on the way to Austin and got my dear @nouukaa and farouq to show me around! Covered alot of ground during my short time thanks to them and I loved everything about it ✨ SF is so colourful and has so much personality, it’s pretty impossible to take a bad photo here.
Day 2/100
Today wasnt the best, so i didnt manage to shoot anything. Instead i found myself in a trance while experimenting with my film negatives before bed. now i cannot sleep.
It’s been a while since I edited a wedding film just for the love of it, and doing it now, as a married guy myself, definitely hits different. Felt all the feels, noticed the little moments more, and honestly just enjoyed the process way more than I expected. And I gotta say, this is one of my most exciting and fun wedding to edit.
Thanks @ezanner for allowing me to document your special day… and for the exceptional barter trade ;)
