Good songs and garments share a quiet kinship, arriving from somewhere just beyond explanation.
Mutual inspiration led to this collaboration with @stanleysimmonsmusic , the musical project of @nicktsimmons and @itsevanstanley , whose close harmonies carry a kind of living nostalgia, opening new paths as they go.
We tried to meet them there, with @gry.space lensing, on a soft afternoon that felt serendipitously in step with their sound.

Much of the vivid red of volcanic earth begins as iron-rich volcanic material. As it meets air and moisture, the iron oxidizes, and the ground itself “rusts” into color. In geologically young crater slopes, those fresher deposits can stay especially bright, before time and weather deepen them toward darker basalt.
Crater Red of the CHRONOS ELEMENTAL nods to that same arc, being vibrant at the core, with a slightly weathered, oxidized cast.

• DUST: a new Escher colorway
The Escher Pant is a testament to two decades of pant-making expertise, merging technical precision with luxury to redefine what a pant can be. This all-season edition is cut from rugged yet buttery-soft stretch cotton—durable enough for adventure, refined for city life, and comfortable enough for home.
The pant achieves a clean, tailored look while optimizing utility, with a total of 10 pockets: primary side pockets with integrated key and phone compartments; hidden zipper pockets layered between the main pockets and pant body; cargo-esque pockets integrated into the body to preserve the clean silhouette; and back zipper pockets discreetly placed beneath an extended folded seam.
A staggered knee detail creates an architectural feel, designed to flex naturally as the knee bends. This construction prevents stretching or bulging over time, while a dart behind the knee adds subtle articulation.
Engineered for the long arc of wear and the stories it carries.

@elenabrower — teacher, writer, and guide in presence whose work makes room for curiosity over conclusion. A line from Hold Nothing (her newest book):
“Certainty can be a liability; if I have an answer, the conversation ends.”
It’s brought me such joy to feel Elena’s appreciation for what Eyn Vas has quietly aimed to create: simple, thoughtful design in sync with nature, made with natural fibers, small runs, human touches… And maybe that’s part of why this resonates; the clothes were never meant to be a “conclusion,” but an opening to exploration and discovery. To see those intentions not just noticed, but embodied, feels like a rich, unfolding conversation.
• the hands that wear and are aware
———
While revisiting imagery from Eyn Vas over the years, my attention kept returning to something I hadn’t consciously noticed before: the hands. Hands caught mid-gesture, mid-work, mid-life… wearing the clothes, shaping moments.
There is something humbling in it. Hundreds of hands involved in the making of these pieces, and thousands more carrying them into the world; building, holding, tending, creating. Hands with their own intelligence and sensitivity, quietly in service to life’s acts.
Here are a few of my favorite moments that were caught through a lens.

In celebration of your hands, my hands, and all the hands that have been and will be,

• Hello, Orion (new arrival!)
~barriers dissolve in the old growth~
Photos by @krieb.studio of @thetommytague wearing the new ORION Crewneck (Umbriel color) in a sublime washable wool + cashmere blend, paired with ESCHER /2 pant in Meteorite (sizes restocking soon)
I love wandering and designed these pieces for that, whether it’s in the wilds of the woods, city streets, or at home in my own imagination
